The Republic of Korea, or South Korea, is a nation rich with history, beautiful natural scenery, and dazzling modernity. Beautiful traditional architecture is juxtaposed with neon signs and quirky modern buildings. Visiting Seoul, its capital city, visitors will be impressed with the cleanliness and efficiency with which everything runs, not to mention the shopping culture! Get outside of Seoul and soak up the lovely landscapes of the countryside or go hiking in the mountains.
